Hi everyone,
I’m looking for best practices on how to create restored LULC maps as inputs for the InVEST Habitat Quality and Carbon models.
Specifically, I’d like to learn how others have represented future restoration scenarios by replacing degraded areas with restored habitat classes in the input maps (e.g., map‑editing workflows, assumptions about restoration, or classification strategies). I plan to analyze the impacts of different restoration practices on degraded pasturelands, and I am currently facing challenges in how to represent these approaches in alternative stratagies (e.g., agroforestry, active restoration, natural regeneration, or integrated crop–livestock–forestry systems - ICLF).
If possible, I’d also really appreciate examples or experiences from tropical or Latin American contexts.
Thanks in advance for any insights or references you can share!
