InVEST 3.17 does not launch from installer

Hi, I have tried to run InVEST and it won’t work. I have downloaded the VC_redist files, installed, yet the program just doesn’t launch. Not even crashing, just does not show anything once I “Finish“. Yes, I tick the “Run InVEST”

In order to diagnose your issue, it would be helpful if you could provide more information about the steps you’ve taken to install InVEST and upload your logfile located at C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\invest-workbench\logs. Hi and thank you for your assistance, I have downloaded the latest version of InVEST. I have tried to navigate to the file path you mention but I have either found no \invest-workbench\logs or I find \invest-workbench and the folder is empty.

For installation I just click InVEST and it takes me through the usual steps, agreements, file location, “Only Me/All Users“, then Finish, but nothing happens.

Is there any other possible way to find out?

After the installation completes, is the Workbench available to open from the start menu? If no, something probably went wrong during the installation. If yes, please try opening it and then check again for the logfiles.

I followed your advice using Start Menu, InVEST is open and works, thank you, but there are still no logfiles.
