I intend to compare Seasonal Water Yield results between different decades and am using data available on worldclim between 1960-1990 and 1970-2000.
However, I couldn’t find ET0 for the years 1960-1990, only PET (potential evapotranspiration, calculated based upon the Hargreaves PET equation https://www.scidb.cn/en/detail?dataSetId=11e920c1ee144fc2a691951096b96cbc).
While ET0 in January ranges from 90 to 130 in my study area, PET ranges from 2000 to 3000. This caused the baseflow to be equal to zero, precisely because of the high PET values.
Is there any way I can convert PET to ET0 or modify my other inputs to adapt to PET? I am open to reading papers on the subject, thank you!
