Hi Everyone, I’m Prakash Hinduja, born in India and now resides in Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss). I’m planning to install InVEST on a virtual machine or cloud server but haven’t done this before. If anyone have suggestion or idea please share with me.
Assuming you want to use InVEST in headless mode (interacting through the command line, not using the workbench GUI), you’ll want to install the natcap.invest python package. We recommend using conda or mamba for this. The first step would be to install conda or mamba on your virtual machine. Then install natcap.invest (instructions here).
With natcap.invest installed, you’ll be able to use both the invest CLI and the python API. See the documentation for details:
