I am new to InVEST and I am calculating the sediment retention value of the watershed. Now I am confued which value or map to take and also how to validate the values?

If you’re interested in sediment retention, check out the Ecosystem Service Indicators section of the SDR chapter of the User Guide for a description of the main retention-related outputs of the model.
We typically validate this model using the sediment export results, since they can be compared with observed data, which hopefully exists and is accessible for your study area. The Calibration section of the SDR chapter of the User Guide provides more information about this, as well as a link to a whole chapter on the topic of calibration. There have also been many discussions on this forum regarding validation, which you can find using the Search function.
And a final resource is a calibration plugin for InVEST created by colleagues at TNC to make this process easier, which you can find more information about here.
