Workbench 3.19.0 does not start

Hello everyone.

I am runing with the same issue. I was working on v3.17.0 and now v3.19.0. I tried to fix the issue following the instructions above (also forcing the port on the config file), as well as trying by myself with the support of chat gpt and our IT support. But still, the workbench crashes.

I want to specify that until couple of weeks ago the workbench was correctly working, and never had this issue before.

Hi @Glomo93 , I moved your post to a new topic because the other was a few years old and not likely to be related to your current issue.

What version of Windows are you running? Your logfile looks more similar to the problem described in this other recent thread: InVEST 3.19.0 crashes (Windows)

It worked! Sorry, I didn’t find that topic before (I was using “Workbench” as a keyword). The thing that leaves me puzzled is that until a couple of weeks ago it was working (v3.17.0). I am running on Windows 11, but also two weeks ago… I don’t understand what happened. But I am so happy that now it’s running.

Glad the compatibility mode worked for you. We also don’t understand why this has become a problem for people recently. Hopefully we can learn more and a publish a fix that does not rely on this workaround.
