Crop Pollination error "utf-8"

Thank you @sibylles ! We have a week of meetings going on right now, but I wanted to let you know that thanks to all of the information you have so helpfully provided, I’ve been able to reproduce the error on my workstation. I will get back to you soon, probably by next week, with a further update.

In the meantime, I found that, during the InVEST installation process, if I installed InVEST for all users, the error went away. Could you try that out with the most recent development build and see if you see any errors?

Oh yes, you are right. For sure, selecting « all users» the directory changes…

A solution for «personal users » - I should just change the directory away from « Sibylle Stöckli »

Thank you for confirming that it works without errors for you when selecting installation for all users!

I took a look at the logfile, and I don’t see any of the errors there that we have been seeing … everything looks normal (just with a whole lot more logging).

I am still debugging why this is happening, but I am able to reproduce the issue on my workstation here, so I am actively testing this and trying to find a solution.
